LISA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY  (Short Story by Jenny)

Lisa woke up early in the morning, it was her birthday. She was turning eight years old. It was a holiday. After brushing her teeth, she went to get dressed up…”Lisa breakfast ready’ her mom called. While Lisa was having her breakfast, her dad came in. Lisa’s mom or dad did not wish her ‘happy birthday’.

Lisa was upset; her dad told her that he would take her to the park with their dog, Spike. After having her lunch she went with her dad to park .She played fetch, and then she took him for a long walk.

 After that, Lisa’s dad came and said that it was time to go home. Lisa sat in the car beside Spike who was leaning out of the window. Soon they reached home.

Lisa got out of the car , she went to open the door and she was so surprised …her uncle ,aunt, grandparents , cousins and her two best friends Sharon and Stella was their standing around a table with a HUGE cake on it , “HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA” was written on it.Lisa's eyes were filled with tears of joy.....
